Recognizing an increasing need for housing for individuals who value their independence yet desire security and peace of mind, Glenhaven Retirement Village is pleased to share with you information about their Assisted Living Center.

Ideally located on a ten-acre site just 1/2 mile west of Southern Plains Medical Center, Five Oaks Medical Group, and Grady Memorial Hospital, this peaceful rural setting provides an atmosphere for gracious and meaningful living during retirement years.

Our Mission

One of our main goals is to make every transition our elders may experience from this time forward to be as easy and least stressful as possible. With that purpose in mind, Glenhaven Retirement Village offers three basic arrangements to cater to the different needs and lifestyles of our elders.

1. Our aim for the Assisted Living Center is to provide security and offer assistance with activities of daily living for elders who do not need the specialized care of a nursing home.

2. Our Skilled Nursing Facility focuses on providing rehabilitation and skilled nursing services covered by Medicare including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

3. We understand the changing needs of our elders. When the time in life comes that an individual requires more assistance and specialized care, we offer those services in our Long-Term Care Nursing Facility.

Glenhaven Retirement Village believes all individuals should have the opportunity to improve their sense of security and have some assistance in the activities of daily life without forfeiting the quality of lifestyle previously experienced. The Care

One of our main goals at Glenhaven Retirement Village is to develop and implement an individualized care plan suited to the specific needs of each elder. Each plan is designed for the "total" person with individual physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs clearly in mind.

24-hour nursing services are provided by a highly trained and competent staff including RNs and LPNs. Medications are dispensed by certified medication aides as directed by the physician of the elder's choice. Services for our elders would not be complete without the following:
